Smart Capital Application Concept Made by UNY Industrial Engineering Students Wins 2nd Place in LIKMI 2024

In the 2024 Indonesian Student Work Innovation Competition (LIKMI) organized by Yogyakarta State University (UNY), UNY Industrial Engineering students managed to make brilliant achievements. Sholahudin Al Ayyubi won 2nd place in the Digital Star-up Technology category with the concept of smart applications for Indonesia's New Capital.

Sholahudin Al Ayyubi, as the group leader, along with his group members consisting of Ghani Favian H, Farrel Hilmy D, Muhammad Farid F, Wianda Sukandari, Nanik Wijayanti, and Nailah Azka I, managed to achieve achievements in the competition which was attended by various universities throughout Indonesia. The smart application they developed, named "NusaSmart", is an innovative solution to overcome various challenges that may be faced by Indonesia's new capital city. The app is designed to facilitate citizens in accessing various public services, ranging from transportation, health, to utilities.

In its presentation, the team from UNY explained that NusaSmart will be able to integrate various data and information from various sectors, allowing citizens to enjoy more efficient and targeted services. The application is also equipped with artificial intelligence features that can assist in decision-making and optimal resource management.

"I am very grateful for the help and cooperation of the group members who were quite good in developing the concept of this application. I really hope this can be a stepping stone for UNY Industrial Engineering students to compete in many activities in the future. Hopefully in the future, Industrial Engineering students can channel more ideas that can make the department proud," said Sholahudin Al Ayyubi, team leader.

This achievement is clear evidence that UNY students, especially the Industrial Engineering Study Program, have extraordinary abilities and creativity in designing innovative solutions to overcome real challenges.
